Let's classify this under "sick and twisted"

According to the Washington Post, two adoptive parents will murdered in their sleep, with a safe and othe items stolen. While tragic and disturbing, those facts do little to distinguish the crime. What brings this particular story into the realm of new and frightening is the fact that the 6-8 suspects involved spent over a month planning and practicing, and even executed that attack dressed in "ninja" clothing. The fact that a couple known for adopting and caring for over a dozen children with autism and other disorders could be the target an organized, planned, and well-executed attack by a team of murderers makes you wonder. If it could happen to them, why not anyone else?

Makes me feel all warm and safe inside.

Not.

  1. I heard about that, what a scary story. I think they said there were even children in the house when it happened, but I might be mistaken. I know they had quite a few adopted kids though. How sad that they won't have those people there to take care of them anymore. The people that did that to parents are so cold they don't even care.
